What is a Master Plan?
A master plan is a strategic document that provides a long-term vision for the development and improvement of community spaces, facilities, and infrastructure. It acts as a blueprint to guide future growth, investment, and upgrades, ensuring projects meet community needs and align with sustainable planning principles. Master plans typically include site analysis, community consultation, and recommendations for enhancing recreational areas, streetscapes, and public amenities. They help Council prioritise projects and secure funding to deliver well-designed, accessible, and vibrant spaces for residents and visitors.
