Fire Danger Period Declared For Yarriambiack Shire

The Country Fire Authority's Chief Officer has approved the commencement of the Fire Danger Period (FDP) as follows:

Yarriambiack Shire (entire Shire, including District 17 and the Shire's District 18 components) to commence - 0100hrs, Monday, 3 November 2025.

Once the FDP has been declared, fire restrictions come into force.  This means you cannot light a fire in the open air unless you have a permit to comply with certain requirements.

If you do not obtain a permit, you could be breaking the law and may be prosecuted.
