Declaration of 2026-2027 Rates and Charges

The declared 2026/2027 rates and charges include:

• General rate: 0.003097 cents in the dollar of the Capital Improved Value for general land.
• Farm differential rate: 0.001801 cents in the dollar of the Capital Improved Value for farm land.
• Municipal charge: $88.98 per rateable assessment.
• Annual service charges for waste and recycling services:

Ratepayers may pay the 2026/2027 rates and charges by instalments or payment in full by the following dates:

• First Instalment – 30 September 2026
• Second Instalment – 30 November 2026
• Third Instalment – 1 March 2027
• Fourth Instalment – 31 May 2027

• Payment in Full – 15 February 2027

Interest will be charged in accordance with Section 172(2)(a) of the Local Government Act 1989 at 10% per annum on rates and charges not paid by the due dates.
