BLUE-GREEN ALGAE (BGA) LEVELS NOW SAFE FOR YARRIAMBIACK CREEK, WARRACKNABEAL
Yarriambiack Shire Council would like to advise that Blue-Green Algae (BGA) levels for the Yarriambiack Creek, Warracknabeal, have returned to levels not considered a risk to public health.
Please be advised that the alert notice for Lake Marma, Murtoa, remains in place. Regular monitoring of the lake will continue, and the community will be advised once BGA levels are considered safe, as per the limits prescribed in the Victorian Blue Green Algae Circular.
