Dear Parents and Guardians,

I’m pleased to provide you with our third fortnightly update on the progress of our recruitment efforts.

How we’re promoting the roles

We’re still advertising all three roles on:

  • Our website (careers page)
  • Our Facebook page (please feel free to share our post) – last week we boosted this post and it made 36,000 impressions and got 35 clicks on the Service Leader role ad
  • SEEK, LinkedIn, Ethical Jobs, Indeed
  • Department of Education website
  • Early Learning Association Australia website
  • Federation University’s student job board.

We’re also running an ad in the Wimmera Mail-Times this week, and we continue to work closely with Yarriambiack Shire and the Department of Education.

Applications received

In the past few days I received an enquiry regarding the Service Leader role and I’m organising to meet with that person in the coming week. There haven’t been any applications or enquiries for the other roles since our last update.

Of the candidates we’ve interviewed, at this stage none are progressing any further as unfortunately they’ve since withdrawn interest.

We welcome your help

We continue to appreciate of how strongly the Council and community have rallied to offer solutions to support the re-opening of the service. Please do continue to support our recruitment efforts by:

We’ll be in touch again in another two weeks, or sooner if significant updates arise.

Yours sincerely,

Kate Farlow
