• 1996 – Held a moderate amount of water 6ft
• 1980’s – To near capacity

• 2011 – Currently overflowing into farland to the north of the township
• 1 of only 5 waterways that flow inland in Victoria
• Corrong holds 17,200 megs
• Approximately 660 hectares in size
• Powered and non powered boating is permitted although infrastructure and access is limited when the Lake is at it’s capacity
• Mecca for wildlife and bird waching is a must
• Fishing and yabbying are a key recreational activiy recommended by locals
• Sail boats are suited to the Lake

Nestled on the foreshore of beautiful Lake Marma, the cabins feature front decks have views of the sunrise and sunset year round. Three cabins available, 1 x one bedroom cabin & 2 x two bedroom cabins (1 x queen & 1 x double bunk).

The cabins are a community project managed by the Murtoa Progress Association since Oct 2019.

The Caravan and camping facilities in Yarriambiack Shire are all exceptional value for money with many sites only $10 and free camping is permitted at Lake Lascelles.
Mallee township’s within Yarriambiack Shire are in close proximity to the Wyperfeld, Hattah-Kulkyne and Murray Sunset National Parks.
Free Dump Point access is available on the corner of Henty Hwy and Evelyn St, Hopetoun and the Warracknabeal Caravan Park, Lyle St Warracknabeal.
