BLUE GREEN ALGAE (BGA) ALERT FOR LAKE MARMA, MURTOA

 

Yarriambiack Shire Council has issued a Blue Green Algae (BGA) alert for Lake Marma, Murtoa.

The lake should not be used for any recreational activities until further notice.

Regular monitoring of the lake will continue and the community will be advised once BGA levels are considered safe, as per the limits prescribed in the Victorian Blue Green Algae Circular.
