Japanese Encephalitis Community Vaccination Clinic

Yarriambiack Shire local government area has been identified as a high risk area for Japanese Encephalitis (JE) and Murray Valley Encephalitis (MVE), viral diseases spread through mosquitos. In response to this, Yarriambiack Shire are offering free vaccination again Japanese Encephalitis for eligible community members.

Vaccination against JE is now available for anyone aged nine months and older who work or reside in the Yarriambiack Shire and spend time outdoors for work, recreational, education or other essential activities, placing them at increased risk of exposure to mosquitos.

The following public immunisation sessions will be available at the Yarriambiack Shire office, 34 Lyle Street, Warracknabeal:

Wednesday 22^nd March, 9am – 1pm

Tuesday 28^th March, 9am – 1pm

Wednesday 5^th April, 9am – 1pm
