Yaapeet Community Consultation - Draft Budget Initiatives and Waste

YAAPEET - HAVE YOUR SAY!
Yaapeet community members are invited to come along and discuss Council's 2022-23 Budget and the new Waste Strategy with Councillors and staff at our last Community Consultation for this series.

The 2022 – 23 Budget will outline Council’s proposed income, expenditure, proposed and planned Community Projects, along with Council’s Capital works program, that will include expenditure on Roads, Footpaths, Drainage, and Council owned Buildings and Facilities. The session will also include discussions around the movement in the Rates and Charges for the 22-23 financial year. Council has also developed a Waste Strategy that’s overall objectives are to provide a long term plan on improving waste management and environmental sustainability.

This is your opportunity to meet with Council staff and Councillors and discuss priority projects for the coming financial year and hear first hand about the new kerbside glass recycling program.
